Criminal Justice Committee

1. Decision on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take item 4 in private. The Committee will also decide whether consideration of the oral evidence heard and draft reports on the Coronavirus (Recovery and Reform) (Scotland) Bill should be taken in private at future meetings. 2. Coronavirus (Recovery and Reform) (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will take evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from— Dr Marsha Scott, Chief Executive Officer, Scottish Women's Aid; Kate Wallace, Chief Executive Officer, Victim Support Scotland; and then from— Emma Jardine, Policy and Public Affairs Adviser, Howard League Scotland; Teresa Medhurst, Interim Chief Executive, and Allister Purdie, Interim Director of Operations, Scottish Prison Service. 3. Photocopying of prisoners’ mail: The Committee will consider further correspondence on the change to prison rules which allow for the photocopying of prisoners' mail. 4. Review of Evidence: The Committee will consider the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 2.
