1. Decision on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take items 4, 5 and 6 in private. 2. Trusts and Succession (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will take evidence from— Siobhian Brown, Minister for Victims and Community Safety, Michael Paparakis, Policy Manager, Private Law Unit, Jamie Bowman, Legal Directorate, Jane Duncan, Legal Directorate, and John Thomson, Legal Directorate, Scottish Government. 3. Instruments subject to negative procedure: The Committee will consider the following— Packaging Waste (Data Reporting) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2023 (SSI 2023/160) 4. Bankruptcy and Diligence (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will consider the delegated powers provisions in this Bill at Stage 1. 5. Data Protection and Digital Information (No.2) Bill (UK Parliament legislation): The Committee will consider the powers to make subordinate legislation within devolved competence in the Data Protection and Digital Information (No.2) Bill (UK Parliament legislation). 6. Trusts and Succession (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will consider the evidence it heard earlier in the meeting.
