1. Decision on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take items 5, 6 and 7 in private. 2. Moveable Transactions (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will take evidence from— Tom Arthur, Minister for Public Finance, Planning and Community Wealth, Hamish Goodall, Bill Team Leader, Rob McConnell, Solicitor in Commercial and Competition Law Branch , and Vuyi Stutley, Solicitor in Commercial and Competition Law Branch, Scottish Government. 3. Instruments subject to affirmative procedure: The Committee will consider the following— Police Act 1997 (Offences in Schedules 8A and 8B) Amendment (Scotland) Regulations 2022 (SSI 2022/Draft) Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Order 2022 (SSI 2022/Draft) 4. Instruments subject to negative procedure: The Committee will consider the following— Town and Country Planning (Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland) Regulations 2022 (SSI 2022/286) Scottish Child Payment (Saving Provisions) Regulations 2022 (SSI 2022/302) 5. Moveable Transactions (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will consider the evidence it heard earlier. 6. National Care Service (Scotland) Bill : The Committee will consider the delegated powers provisions in this Bill at Stage 1. 7. Northern Ireland Protocol Bill (UK Parliament legislation): The Committee will consider the powers to make subordinate legislation conferred on UK Ministers in devolved areas in the Northern Ireland Protocol Bill (UK Parliament legislation).
