1. National Care Service (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will consider commissioned research on international models of social care. The Committee will take evidence from— Dr Irena Connon, Independent Researcher. 2. National Care Service (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will take evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from— Sir Harry Burns, Professor Of Practice & Special Adviser, University of Strathclyde; Professor Jon Glasby, Professor of Health and Social Care, University of Birmingham; Professor Catherine Hennessy, Professor of ageing, University of Stirling; Nick Kempe, Convener, Care Reform Group, Common Weal; Professor Catherine Needham, Professor of Public Policy and Public Management, University of Birmingham and ESCR Centre for Care. 3. Public petitions: The Committee will consider the following petitions— [PE01845] Agency to advocate for the healthcare needs of rural Scotland [PE01890] Find solutions to recruitment and training challenges for rural healthcare in Scotland [PE01915] Reinstate Caithness County Council and Caithness NHS Board [PE01924] Complete an emergency in-depth review of Women's Health services in Caithness & Sutherland 4. National Care Service (Scotland) Bill (in private): The Committee will consider the evidence it heard earlier under agenda items 1 and 2. 5. Pre-Budget Scrutiny 2023/24 (in private): The Committee will consider a draft letter to the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care. 6. Patient Safety Commissioner Bill (in private): The Committee will consider its approach to the scrutiny of the Bill at Stage 1.
