Justice Committee

The Committee will meet at 10:00 am in the Mary Fairfax Somerville Room (CR2) 1. Scottish Fire and Rescue Service: The Committee will review the operation of the Police and Fire Reform (Scotland) Act 2012 as it relates to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service by taking evidence from— Alasdair Hay, Chief Officer, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service; Pat Watters, Chair, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Board; Chris McGlone, Executive Council Member, Region 1, Scotland, Fire Brigades Union; Derek Jackson, Branch Secretary, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Branch, Unison Scotland. 2. Limitation (Childhood Abuse) (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will consider the Bill at Stage 2. 3. Justice Sub-Committee on Policing: The Committee will consider a report back from the Sub-Committee meeting on 18 May 2017.
